i think people just cut the hose in half, and instal the sensor between the 2 parts

What is wrong with the standard OEM coolant temp gauge? I've never understood why anyone would buy a Defi gauge for coolant temps when the car comes with one anyway.

Yes by all means go for oil temp, oil press, boost etc but why have two gauges giving you the same info?
