how do you enter yourself in for trackdays/drags?
hi all
complete begininner question, mates civic turbo is now on the road fully ready and he wnats to do sometrackdays in it.. well he said drag races first before trackdays..
how would he get started/involved? suppose itll be good for me to know aswell, as ive never done a trackday.
he mainly after info for drags.. or even entering for totb? what are the terms and conditions etc. think maybe his exhaust will need changing..
as for trackdays, thats more for me, how would i get started in them? suppose beginner days first?
what sort of costs are they per day? also for extra passengers?
cheers

Just done my second novice day with motorsports vision. 1st was @ Brands second was Snetterton. Price is £125 for the day strict overtaking rules so no silly buggers. Sessioned day so you go out at alternate half hours more than enough in fact I missed the last session because I was so knackered. I am a complete addict!
Snetterton was a great beginner track far better than Brands imho
When costing things up do remember to cost in your fuel (sounds obvious) but yesterday I was averaging around 6ish mpg so £25 of fuel went in about 15 laps
I love drag racing as well but trackdays are something else

No noise regs. Check the websites for dates and prices. No Passenger rides.
You need to take your licence with you and may need a helmet depending on how quick the car is.
