Please put your car in the garage, it makes it much easier to offer help/advice if you are able to see the OP's vehicle/spec/mods ect.
I know it means reloading pics and retyping details but it's gotta be worth it

what about the other side of the coin,, such as theives knowing whats done to your car and which cars to look for/who to befriend to rob there car

What he means is, its easier for someone to offer advice, if they're aware of the person's car/mods.
Makes sense really cos if you don't know whether the person's driving a classic/newage, wrx/sti etc then the advice you offer is less specific and ultimately less useful.
Don't think he means that you are less qualified to offer advice if you don't drive a modded motor.
