The bumpers are quite awful and they are different from mine..
And I don't think they came with the car originally..

Why?

JDM models are normally better and more expensive than Type UK's aren't they?

it's been played with a bit, front bumper is not v-ltd neither are the add ons, alloys are standard which is right as it was only the wrx v-ltd which had different alloys, the seats should have the yellow subaru swoosh on them also if i remember right. I'd see if you can get a proper steering wheel as well from the garage rather than the one on it now.

I had the WRX v-ltd which i imported from near enough new and have all the sales stuff that i printed off somewhere at home with all the changes on them, i'll see if i can dig it out.

The UK engine internals are not as strong as the JDM cars. Rear wipers, electric folding mirrors, rear tints, twin scroll turbo's are all items not on UK cars. Insurance is on par, so the JDM's are a better bet.

I have a JDM Forester, never made it to the UK market so I have a certain amount of exclusivity too.

You may get a UK equivalent STi for the same money but it will cost more to get the JDM power etc.

IMHO

Have a trawl on here in the search and see the results you get!

What dealer is it? Website?

I smell B*******!
"you can now specify lpg on a scoob when you buy it new but it has to come from the factory with it fitted because they modify the heads to cope with it, also it makes the valves recess into the head so you have to keep doing the tappits at certain services.i've seen it fitted to a lot of subarus and i can't recommend it to be honest, check engine lights and rough running seem to be the constant problems that all the kits suffer from"

ryan fong has my old WRX STI 2003 V-Limited. The one for sale on ebay is a dog IMO. Front and rear bumpers are non-standard. And no the ECU is not capable of any of the ****e the dealer is on about. There are parts on the advert that were taken from my old Piston Heads advert.
The seats are the correct ones as the car is an STI. The WRX V-Limited had the seats with the yellow swoosh.
The only differences between a standard JDM STI and the STI V-Limited were the roof scoop and the suspension set-up. The STI V-Limited had the STI pink suspension developed by Toshi Arai. There were also the optional extras of a alloy gear **** & BBS alloys. Also the fact that there were only 555 units produced makes it a bit exclusive.

Hey Rick,
Sorry I was out and just got back home.
I think my car's previous owner Phil (phil555) has already explained it extremely well and pretty much all the info you need.
I would say the car in the advert is a little bit dodgy because the bumpers, the steering wheel, the gear **** are both not original and also there're quite lot discrepancies of the description in the link.
I think you better go there in person and ask all the details and histories of the car, if the trader talks shyts then I think you probably better walk away.
Good Luck..
