Default 2004/5 wrx Wagon

Are they any good? They seem quite good for the money.
Whats the handling like? Car the gearbox and engion take 300bhp would 2k be enough to get it to 300bhp and be reliable?

I've got an 03 wrx wagon and it goes pretty well. I had a decat up-pipe (£50-£100), prodrive downpipe (£150), Afterburner vortex (£400ish with green panel filter) and open source remap (£550 inc fitting all the bits) and it made 284bhp and 305lb/ft torque. I fitted some prodrive springs (£200) and had the geometry set up at demon tweeks (£70ish). Also put some red stuff pads on it (£84) and Turbo groove brake discs (£188) to make it stop better. Hope this all helps.

Andy.

I've had an 03 for 3years, it's running 350bhp/333lbsft. I'm taking it up to 380/400bhp and will be upgrading pistons and conrods, everything else should be ok at that.
I stiffened up the back with Perrin anti-roll bar and drop links + white-line rear strut-brace +anti-lift kit and front stut-brace. There's very little body-roll now, turn-in is good and the car very responsive and stable

We all say that , i've got a 04 wagon with 325bhp / 320ft lbs and have had no problems with the gearbox although i have had the clutch changed, it handles great, click on My Garage for the full spec
