Subaru Impreza WRX STI VF23 IHI Turbo on eBay, also, Subaru, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 19-Mar-09 19:36:48 GMT)
He sold this item to someone on ebay knowing full well it had a damaged blade. I got a friend to drive me to his house (3 & a 1/2 hour round trip) to go and have a look at it as there wasn't anything mentioned about the blades being damaged.
I showed him the damage and he said sorry for your wasted journey. This was a few days before the auction ended so he had time to revise his item which he didn't. Just look at the feedback left.
I'm glad my friend agreed to drive me up there so I got to see it beforehand as the last thing I needed was to spend out £220 as we'd agreed beforehand.

cheers for the heads up - what a ****
his response to the negative feedback is "Item sold as seen, buyer was happy at the time" - how is an item sold online and described as in perfect working order now "sold as seen"?

If the buyer lodges a dispute, he WILL get his full money refunded, price he paid + postage.
I (before christmas) bought a turbo for a Pajero, and me being a fool, took delivery and didn't get round to even unwrapping it.... Until the second week in January.
Upon opening, the play on the shaft was unbelievable and I didn't even go any further with the fitting, I contacted the seller, and he quoted exactly the 'sold as seen' crap. To which I replied that I could not see the item and that it was NOT descibed fully, as it was obviously damaged.
I waited the prescribed time with Ebay/Paypal and lodged a claim for full refund, as I would not have been down the postage and packing if the buyer had listed correctly, the only thing I had to pay for was the return postage (£6), Paypal issued a Full refund.
