Yes, sad-day today, the beast has gone, BUT atleast it,s gone to my Nephew so it,s still in the family.. he,s getting a well sorted car there.
I just fancied a break away from cars for a while and have some future plans etc, BUT i,ll be back with something special again that,s for sure.
Trouble is i,ve got a few show tickets now and only a Suzuki Vitara jeep to go in....
Here she is in her glory....................
Enjoy it Gareth,,,,,and look after it.

Time for a few holidays etc now, **** cars for abit...

I'll look after it matey, don't worry. It's always here for when you need to release some stress!!!
Just like to say a quick hello to everybody on here by the way and hope to see a few of you at some local meets, weather permitting. (car is going in the garage and won't be coming out unless the weathers dry! lol).

Pleasure matey, just look after it for me and i,ll be over every other Sunday for my fix...
Tony,
Yes mate, i,d love a nice mint 500, trouble is they demand silly money..
Spec C i,ve had as you know, would i have another?? well you know me and the answer is yes...
I,m just going to step back for a few months as said though, still do the shows etc then see what car bites me on the *** to buy it.......
I,d like that forged RA, but i think 10k is alittle steep although it,s a cracker..

Not many 500s about now more a collectors car than a drivers car.but still a great car.if you lose the splitters on the front you will then find out how much downforce the rear wing has, like pulling a wheelie at 150 no steering.

Lol,
Stuart, i know all about that fella, i,ve had about 6 cossies before. 3 of which were your normal 3drs, two had RS500 bumper, rear spoiler etc, i remember doing over 150mph clock speed, so probably about 135-140 real speed and i thought the car was going to lift form the ground.. great fun though, that was near on 500bhp too that car, i do love my RWD Cossies, but as said Stuart, it,s finding a good one these days that,s not had 10000 owners with a sun-roof in the floor... RUST.......

Believe there are just under 100 left world wide to find a good one is hard as no body is selling them, price will only go up in years to come. Great investment for the people which own them. true classic

Same boat Pete. Bought the Hawkeye STI in August 08 and had sold it by Jan 09 due to lack of use. Thout I'd be happy with a nice RB5 but only had that six weeks and sold it on. Like you I've decided to take a step back and leave things for a few months and I'll stick to using my Pug 306 work horse. Certainly missed the car when we had decent weather the other day but guess I've hit that same stage of not being that bothered about fast cars at the moment. Hope it changes but who knows..........at least the cash is in the bank and I didn't lose too much money on either of the last two.
Good luck with what ever you decide. That forged one is tickling my fancy as well tbh but must resist. Bet you'll have bought it next week

She's getting there slowly need the remap next and then just a rocker cover needs doing, everything else after that should be cosmetic, and i want to bin the HKS filter for a standard airbox as well as dumping the dv for a standard item
Then its the brakes.... damn the list is endless
