MY99 UK turbo Wagon is on 104500 miles all original internal no engine rebuild, going strong, owned for 1 months. Just drove to Chamrousse in France 1000 miles there left ot for a week in up to -20 degrees and it started first time after 5 days drove through the snow and home 1000 miles without missing a beat with 4 6 ft lads in the car, legend. What mods do you need other than a remap, filter and exhaust top get 280 hp?

I know a fella with an MY00 UK Turbo with 156K on the clock....the car has a six speed box, TD05 and Motec ECU along with all the bits, and it competes in Scooby Shootout and Ten of The Best....oh and the engine is standard, never been opened or upgraded ![EEK!](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/eek.gif)

We've got a customer from Solihull or thereabouts on 211,000 miles in a UK turbo MY99 Impreza. He broke the original engine, with a big bolt from a truck through the rad, that caused it to overheat on the motorway at about 115,000 and has done nearly as much again on an APi rebuilt engine.
We see it once a year for a service and he just drives it.

Just thought it would make a change to hear about engines lasting. I guess we hear alot about rebuilds and problems because people come on scooby net for help rather than posting how many miles there there engines are lasting.

My 07 has just done 42k and I may well keep it until it gets too tired. It's good to know there are a lot of turbos on here that have coped well with high miles!
