Zen are doing the Subaru "Cosworth Performance Air Filter" for £35. Fitted one to my old mans WRX and they seem pretty good, equal to K&N etc.

COSWORTH performance panel air filter Subaru Impreza on eBay, also, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 19-Apr-09 17:12:35 BST)

The STi panel filter is about the worst panel filter you can get for a scoob.you are much better off getting a Green cotton panel or a K&N panel filter

in back to back filtration tests the STI one was worse than the standard OE one

Do you have a link ?, the reason i went for the STI filter was that i was under the impression whilst it didn't flow as much as the others, it offered better filtration, I would be happy to change to a cheaper better flowing/filtering alternative though

I use one of these

TSL MOTORSPORT | Subaru Saab Mitsubishi | parts | repair | servicing | performance tuning | UK

Gives a nice induction noise too.

Yet it was better than both the green and K&N (better filtration) and gave excellent results that exceeded both of the above
The only down side to the STI filter is that its a service item and as such is replaced every 2 years/20k miles.
