Default RB320 Prices?

Have been browsing around on Pistonheads etc and noticed that RB320`s holding VERY strong money, low to mid 20ks, most @ 22-25k, would you pay this for one folks?? What were they new??

Excuse my ignorance on them as i haven,t really looked at them until now, do they have leather from memory and how many where made etc??

On the flip-side you can get Spec C`s now for decent money, even a 06 Car is 15-18k or so, just wondering what your thoughts would be...

Is the RB320 Going to be a car that WILL always hold, demand good money because of what it is etc???

Here's one at my dealer, 16k miles on it - just under £24k as you say...

Approved used car search :: Subaru.co.uk

I guess being a limited run in tribute to RB it will always have a certain value compared to a std edition. But to hold it that comparatively high forever? who knows in this economic climate!

expensive though. s/h it still costs a lot more than my car would have done when new 4 years ago...

The leather & leather/alcantara was an upgrade option, but a must!

Only 320 made. (A few are already RIP)

Didn,t realise the Leather wasn,t standard, so was it just the Normal STI interior then if not upgraded leather??

There were two types of interior upgrade, leather and half leather/alcantara.

There was also an ice upgrade featuring double din sat nav.

If you found a nice low mileage one for the right price with a standard interior, as far as I know still be able to fit retro either of the interior upgrades through a Subaru dealer.

Awesome car, and should hold thier money well not only due to the Richard Burns connection but being the last "fastest" uk saloon available before the hatchback came out.

Problem with limited editions like this is that they only hold their value if they are low mileage and untouched. Ideal for a collectors car.

Mod them, drive them and they lose their value and collectability very quickly. Similar to the 22Bs in that respect.

As an Impreza, minus the styling, I believe it is just an STI with PPP.

I like them though. Nice looking car.

Depends on what you're after. Spec C is by far the better drivers car. Personally I would never have bought a new RB320 and certainly wouldn't pay anywhere near that for a second hand one. I don't think they're anything special to be honest.

Yes i think i tend to agree tbh, especially after owning a 2006 Spec C, that,s RA-R money really too.

I think it would last 2 minutes with you Pete its a nice car but now you have tasted Spec C fun, it wont match it especially as a drivers car which is a shame really....

With only 320 made, one with leather seats and ICE upgrade is always going to hold its money well.

I will always remember driving one of the prototypes around Prodrive's Warwick track in Jan 07, loved it, had to buy a Impreza after that!

Were window tints an option as well?

With the current exchange rate you'd be looking at close on £40k to import an RA-R into the country.

Check out Banzai magazine on April 16th. Myself and Gordon Crouch featured our RA-R's.

The RB's do look nice, but really they are just slightly cosmetically altered UK Sti's with a bit of grillwork, the PPP already on and improved suspension and wheels. For less money the Spec C is a much better car. I know the RB has limited numbers and I don't want to pay disrespect to the memory of Mr. Burns, but apart from looking good, I just can't see that the RB320 is a good buy at those very high prices. I know it wouldn't be the same thing, but you could achieve the same look by modding a standard black Hawkeye Sti for significantly less cash. If I had the money I would definitely go the Spec C route myself.

There are only two official and legal road registered examples. I think there are four in total. As for price, what you offering???
