Default Killed the Bugeye!!

Look what happened.

Anyway, while one of the conrods was doing a tin opener impression it took out this sensor. Am I right in saying this it is a water temp sensor and is the 3 pin connector in the other pic part of it?

the missus thinks I did it on purpose because I was talking about a rebuild last week.

I did say that I was actually planning on using the block not buying an entire new one.

Well at least all women think alike, although it is quite often coincidence that something breaks just after she says I can't have a new one

another funny thing was when the RAC guy phoned me. he asked how on earth was I able to diagnose a failed conrod at the roadside. I told him it was quite simple as i'm holding it in my hand.

Still at least the other half can't deny you the new engine now - unless she prefers the bus that is!!

Nice to see you're not too gutted!

I was actually racing a civic type r at the time, he thought it was well funny when it went pop until it was pointed out that he still lost.

Might have even saved the block but I felt that i must carry on.

Was kinda like the first fast and furious when he knackered the green car in his race. Then I snapped back to reality when I realised I wasnt an undercover cop with the financial backing to buy another 10 second car!!
