Default Newage Road Tax

Guys,
Im looking to get a scooby and im a little confused at how much the road tax is as parkers says one thing then auto trader says the opposite.

Its going to be a blobeye UK STI or a JDM STI8
Its it 250 quid just now or 455? Seems to be quite a difference.
do Jap cars still get put in same bracket?

Page Has Expired

Stick the reg number and make in here and it will tell you about that specific vehicle. Ignore what it says on the link above, it still worked when I tried it.

I didnt realise the imports would be cheaper. Sounds like another good reason to get one
Anyone got an import and put road tax on recently? £185 is about as cheap as my diesel just now lol

not sure where that info came from, this is from the directgov site Pre-Budget Report 2008 - Reforms to vehicle tax : Directgov - Motoring until they move the goal posts again, into 2011 it'll be £245

i assume that is up to date info

Whats the Co2 for the sti ?
Autotrader I think said they were 255 which put them in the L or M bracket which I think Merv took the figures from?

Good thing is it looks like nobody is paying the high rates yet
