sensor on downpipe 94 wrx

Question sensor on downpipe 94 wrx

currently changing my down pipe and i have damaged the sensor is it poss to run without this sensor or not?? quick reply would be appreciated as im without the car at the mo and may need to order a new one

Sensor in the dp is the egt or cat on fire, if your running a decat then it is therefore obsolete, o2/lambda sensor should be located in the drivers side manifold. Hth
