Cool

Does anyone provide the 'wavy design' pod without gauges for a 93WRX?

Unhappy

Unfortunatly they don;t fit the earlier dash.
There was a rumour that Nito was looking at designing one but I hadn't heard anything official.

I have ended up removing the vents from the middle of the dash, well one vent so far and fitted one gauge.
I did wonder if I could buy the three gauge pod and modify it to fit the dash or the dash to fit it. But it is not a cheap item and to cut around the dash or the pod to fit after paying that much I didn't want to risk a crappy looking job.

My gauge in the vent looks a bit crap to be honest as currently I have just fitted it into the whole left by removing the vent, whcih means the vent is still usable and the air passes past the gauge. Although it might not look great it has only cost me the price of the gauge. I intend fitting a front to the vent and another gauge in the other side.

If I ever manage to get it looking nice then I shall post a picture and explain how I did it. There is ample room for three gauges if you remove the vents and then centre bar between the vents.

Cheers

I currently have a three gauge set up above the stereo, I believe it was an option on the early shape STI's. However they are dinky 35mm ish jobbies and was thinking of replacing them with a leather blank and chrome clock. Shame they dont do one, but I do have another plan up my sleave. I'll mail you my idea in a couple of days, in case you ever fancy changing.

Wink

Disco,

Oh yeah the WRX has a slighty different dash around the stereo area.

Mine is a UK MY96...

No space in dash for any size gauges.. Although I did consider moving the ECU and putting gauges in the bottom... but decided:
A) Moving the ECU is probably not easy or wise
B) the gauges would be difficult to look at that low in the dash.

Cheers

If you hold off for a while, demon tweeks will be producing a three gauge a pillar pod, which climbs up the pillar instead of sitting on the dash in the corner.
