can some one explain the differnece in headers as looking to replace them on my00
i.e. equal - non equal , ported , uprated ones etc etc![Confused](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/confused.gif)
am running 326bhp so what would be best

was thinking of porting and wrapping the standard ones???

equal length tubular ones will loose the burble sound and are more suited to high power engines.unequal tubular ones keep the subaru sound and are more suited if you are going over 400+bhp.imo you are probably best porting your standered ones at that power as they will give you better spool up.

phil, just port and wrap your standard ones. You will get no gain from going tubular and this is from experience and an empty wallet!
The tubular will have a bigger bore up pipe, and in turn this will raise up the revs when your turbo spools up. I have been through all of this and have only just had my up pipe changed back to a smaller diameter one. The response is now better than it was, but of course i am still out of pocket! Porting your OEM ones will make things better, cost a damn sight less, and make a difference once mapped.
