I have a STI 2 555, once warmed up what should my maximium rev limit be?, I've only been going up to 7000 rpm, but the engine seems really unstressed and willing to go higher.
I'm used to early BMW sixes and 6500rpm is as far as you would want to go without some bottom end strenghtening!

You don't need to rev the engine high for every gear change. The car has it max power 5.5k to 6k iirc and red line is usually 7-8k.

At what revs does the rev limiter cut-in? and is it a soft limiter or a cut out type?
