Hi,

My local Tescos' had no 99 RON for 4 days now. I asked today when they would be getting some more and they didin't know. Not been able to get any for two weeks.

Anybody else had similar experiences>

i had same problem couple of weeks ago here in newcastle

rang up dont no how many times to see if they had got any kept saiding due in a couple of days, till 1 day manager said wait of supplier getting stock in at liverpool

My tescos in Brid ran out a few weeks back. Car was in garage for rust work so I didn't need any but when I recieved me car all fixed they still didn't have any.

I went in and they said they didn't have a clue when they where getting any, and there head office said there was a shortage of fuel trucks. He was gonna give me head office's number to ring when behind him a tanker parked up. Luckily it was super unleaded.

The nearest place was Scarborough but thtas only 97 ron and then its Hull but I would spend a tenner just to get there?

Sounds like most Northern branches are experiencing supply problems. Tesco at York have been 99 RON dry for well over a month.

Same here in Middlesbrough/Stockton - a good month or so now. My next-door neighbour works in the Ingleby garage and she says that they've switched their supply from Seal Sands (local) to somewhere darn Sarf, and have no idea when they'll get any more. She also said that people have been coming in and removing the carrier bags from the Super pumps (that's their technical way of telling you they're empty!) and filling their cars up with the dregs in the tank. I'd always assumed that they turned them off or something when empty, but apparently they can't.

I'd forgotten how expensive Shell are for V-Power :-(
