I would go specialist, depending where you go i would say £300-£400 as its a big service.

Mine is due as well mate, loking at just over, £400 plus just renewed tax, another£400 and needs MOT and a few goodies fitted, looks like its about£1000 this month, lol

If you are close to Litchfields here are there servicing costs:

http://www.litchfieldimports.co.uk/p...aservicing.pdf

But worth it IMO.

Our 06 was 650, we had filters, plugs, fluids, brake lines, joints and boots and engine stored faults reset.
A lot of it was checks rather then replace but we got the works just to be safe.

why not buy all the fluids and parts from OPIE and get the labour, wouldnt that be a bit cheaper....(also you'll know whats going in/or you might prefer to use the oils and plugs you want)???

Just had mine done. Same age car with 19000 miles. Likewise my plugs and filter have already been upgraded. Cost me £215 at a specialist. He used all the best oils etc as usual as well. Better than what you would get at a main dealer.

Price was good but then I do use them all the time.

Now thats more like it, and he probably charged you a little bit extra cos you've got a specD, he'd take pity on me and charge me £199 cos its a wrx.

If you get a specialist to quote you then take it to a main dealer most of them will match the price and you can still supply your own oil

Really and truely your cars modified well so your probably running an uprated air filter and plugs anyway. and you've probably changed the oil with good stuff every 3 or 4K miles.

So looking from aaron's message you need to get
Fuel filter
diff and gearbox oil
and coolant

the labour to do that shouldnt be that much

as long as you keep all the receipts for the parts and labour and get it done from the specialist.

I Will be doing the same..

Hav'nt got a service tick sheet for you but if you look in your service book there will be a servicing schedule telling you exactly what is involved in the 3rd year service.

Its just the little scooby specific things that maybe on a tick sheet, like a curtain lubrication point or an adjustment that may otherwise be overlooked.

my 20k and 30k services weren't that much but I bought it all and just paid for the labour. That oil by the way is not exactly correct for our model/year. Think it will be ok but I got millers (and silkolene pro before that) think its 5/55 or 10/55 something like that!

The Subaru quote should be without plugs anyway as the 2.5 does not require a plug change at 36 Months.

Prabably go down the DIY route, can get hold of a subaru service sheet, scooby service items where required and upgrade oils and fluids, get the book stamped by our servise department, chemical washed under car today in preparation.
