ACCUSED BECAUSE I DRIVE A SCOOBY !!!
I have been accused and I mean accused of drifting in a warehouse at my works !!! A new built warehouse. There are tyre marks on the floor where some fool has wheel spun and used there handbrake. I was accused out right because I was on a shift the night before and the guy who took over in the morning called my boss and said that I had done it . i got a call on my day off saying I had to pay for a new floor I was not happy at all . I said no way would I do that but my say did not change there decision. Because one other guy drives a normal car he did not get blamed, because I drive a subaru I get blamed . I took photos of the marks on the floor and they do not match mine. Also I have 215/45/17 on my car and the width on the floor do not match the width of my tyres . But I am still to blame they say . I need justice on these people they are accusing the wrong person any ideas anyone

As above, ask them for the rubber off the floor to analised and compared with your tyres!!
***** people like that
Is there anyone else who it could be apart from the person who took over?

How do I do that ?? because i will, I am innocent. By the way thanks for your replys . The guy that took over was off for 2days and dont drive but another guy was on who does drive ! so anyone can have someone round like friends in there cars in the warehouse and I now one of the marks are from my other boss because I said he left a mark and he said sh*t happens!! but when I told other boss I was ignored ?

The tyre width should be enough proof!
Go round the carpark and match up everyone elses tyres....bit of detective work will prove who done it! Also.....it is very hard to leave strong tyre marks with a standard scooby...how much power have you got?

I had some factory try to blame me for driving my van into a roller shutter door. Turns out it was a forlift that done the damage and he was trying to offload some blame I'm not saying yours will be a forklift but I bet "someone" is shifting the blame onto you

Fu-Ken Block doesn't work at your place does he..?
No seriously, they're trying it on. Just ignor it and they'll probably do the same. If not ask for proof. Keep the fwd v 4wd 'skid' marks to yourself for the time been, as that should shut them up for good if they do persist in blaming you. Think of it as the ace up your sleeve..
It may actually be worth taking some pics of the marks and let them see you doing it. It'll let them know you're serious about defending yourself..!

Calm matey!
OK then.
I would imagine whoever did this though that it would be fun to do and drive on this slippery new floor. Probably did not expect to leave marks/do damage so unlikely to want to admit to it.
As this affect you.
Does the company have a witness who saw you doing this?
Has your company written to you formally asking you to pay for repairs?
It is irrelevant whether the 3rd person can drove or not, they could have borrowed a car or even been learning to drive for all you know so there are THREE people employed by the company who could be involved. It also could be any one of the other two's mates could it not???
Could the warehouse be accessed by third parties, is it fully secure so no public could get to it?
If i was you i would write to the HR department and your manager/employer stating that it was not you nor do you know who did it. State the tyre width of your car vs. the width of the skid marks and that they do not match for one and also that you would not behave in this manner anyway!
Good luck

Get photos and just tell them it wasn’t you (put them on here to for us to see) let them know you have taken the photos then just keep quiet.
If it’s a FWD car the marks will be obvious it’s not your car and take a photo with a ruler to show the width of the mark.
If you have to go to court I can’t see how you can lose.

All of the above advice, plus if it gets nasty, go and see the CAB or speak to Acas.
You have the option to speak to a respectable Solicitor also, usually the first 30 mins consulation is free. Give you a way of gaining a better understanding, as the last thing you wanna do is say something to accidentally incriminate yourself.
Depends what sort of company you work for, as only a pure inbread retard/spacker/joey would accuse you of something without any formal proof. Especially in this day and age of "injurylawyers4u".
Good luck anywho.

are they big black skid marks or just the smaller brown variety??
(sitting here desparately trying to think of a good skiddy joke)
get the pics done today as you could come into work tomorrow and all the evidence is gone
good luck, not that luck has anything to do with it from what i've read

Mate, get back to School and learn how this works...
You go duff someone in @ work = employers can dismiss you for gross misconduct. How the **** do you arrive at the conclusion that you can do them for unfair dismissal after you've knocked seven bells of **** out of someone at work.
FFS I know you're on a rant today, but engage brain before mouth next time

Hi people thanks for your replies. I wont put pics on because of legal reasons sry. Just an up date of whats going on. I have now left my job because I felt intimidated by my work colleuges and management. I had the director of the company come down and he was saying it could only of been me because the other guys car is not capable of leaving marks like that. Oh and he follows WRC on tv and knows what subaru marks look like ffs . I have a walk threw video and pics with measurement to prove it was not me . Now I go another problem, I received a voice mail saying they are keeping my pay (bills to pay) . I soon have legal advice so I hope this will sort out any problems after the way I have been treated I dout it . I will keep you updated I dont want anyone else to face this because they drive a scooby . I feel I have to sale her because of this, that is a bad feeling .

What is constructive dismissal?
Constructive dismissal is a form of dismissal. If you resign from your job because of your employer’s behaviour, it may be considered to be constructive dismissal. You would need to show that:
Your employer has committed a serious breach of contract
You felt forced to leave because of that breach
You have not done anything to suggest that you have accepted their breach or a change in employment conditions
Possible examples of constructive dismissal
The reason for leaving your job must be serious - there must be a fundamental breach of your contract. Examples include:
a serious breach of your contract (eg not paying you or suddenly demoting you for no reason)
forcing you to accept unreasonable changes to your conditions of employment without your agreement (eg suddenly telling you to work in another town, or making you work night shifts when your contract is only for day work)
bullying, harassment or violence against you by work colleagues
making you work in dangerous conditions
Your employer's breach of contract may be one serious incident or the last in a series of less important incidents that are serious when taken together.
