You could start by reading Roadcraft. If you know any friendly Coppers, ask if they are Class One Pursuit, or if they know of any such trained officers whom would be up for some 'private tuition' I did a full day with such a guy and it not only made me significantly faster, but much safer.

I used to know another guy with a 550bhp Bugeye STi and he couldn't hold a candle to my 260bhp WRX over Strines Moor. Spent all the time trying to regain control of the chaos, terrified that it would spit him down a rivene and petrified that a loss of traction would disintegrate the engine and gearbox. Power is nothing without control

I doubt a Lambo would give me any trouble on Strines, simply not the right place for such a car. They'd leave me wondering where they'd gone on something like Ribblehead, but Strines would probably snap a supercar's chassis before spitting them into a ditch.

I have no problem boosting my car and I would actually like it quicker. lessons would help me see if I am driving my car right and how to hold the boost properly thru the bends when going thur the gears. I see people going on about lessons all the time and I think its now starting to appeal to me as I want to learn how to drive my car even faster

On a smooth surface or a track I wouldn't stand a hope in hell.
But that’s why I brought my car....I live next to the peak district and smooth roads and race tracks are few and far between

Yup Mortimer Road from Midhopestones to Ladybower
I once followed Cheesy from the S.Yorks Scoobs along there and his brand new 300+bhp STi saw us pull up 2 seconds apart after 13 punishing miles. We waited almost 8 minutes for the next of the 30+ Scoobs following to catch us. Was there last week in our family barge (Octavia diesel) and still managed to pass everything I came across, although my average speed was half of the Scoob's

weekday summer evenings are good for a blast as there is no one around at that time. ...you probably know that anyway
been up there a few sunday afternoons and its pain as there is to much traffic...takes the fun out of it so stop off in the Strine Inn pub for a drink and food
I love finding new quiet windy roads in the peaks to go for a blast

When they all finally arrived they said they'd got lost, on a straight road with no turn-offs Then they had to pull over to check for damage when one car strayed a little off-line and was seen with its rear end about 4 feet in the air Even before any of the incidents, one of the guys told me he wondered where I'd gone after the second corner, and by the first valley he found out. I was clearing the crest at the other side as he was turning in I've had 4 mates damage their cars on there, hence the WYIOC refer to it as Britain's "Green Hell"

Never had air going along there though...I mustn't be trying hard enough
Another good road is up Winnats pass at the top turn right and then turn right again up towards Edale.
A nice hill climb up Winnates and again up towards mam tor (or what ever it’s called) and then down hill all the way to Edale (for this part power is useless its brakes that you need) - managed to lose a mate in his Impreza Type R with 340BHP and 6pot AP Racing brakes along that stretch. We were waiting what felt like an age for him to catch up...in reality it was a minute or so

Done Edale and Mam Tor once or twice following Sticky Stuff, usually after coming over Holme Moss. Now there's a road you need brakes for

Holme Moss - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
from: holmfirth to: crowden - Google Maps
Better than that is Ribblehead, Buttertubs and Greenhow Hill though. Faster, more flowing and challenging
