I presume as u change ure cars every 3 months you don't respect the running in period? LOL Enjoy it. If you get bored tonight pop down to Sevenoaks to show it off to the masses.

I will, as a favour to you, run it in nicely for the first 1000 miles. If you want, I'll even loosen it up - perhaps it should get better after the first 10k or so?

Hope your new exhaust is OK, Drove my Black with "PINK" STI back from scoobysport and got caught in rain storm, car got dirty so have cleaned it this afternoon (how sad is that)

Question: What goes whoosh, roaaaaarrrrr, bleep bleep; whoosh, roaaaaaarrrrrr, bleep bleep etc - answer - a freshly ScoobySport exhausted STi running in (yes Chuck, I do do it, carefully) with the rev limit bleeper set at 4500 rpm.....

All I can say is, it gets to 4500 rpm bl00dy quickly in first to fourth gears......

 

Is it quicker than mine DTS?

It still looked like a Toyota Corolla with a bonnet scoop when it was reversing out of ScoobySport. (I'm only jealous!)

And Dave, I'm guessing that you set the rev limit bleeper to 4,500 AFTER you roared away. Sounded like way more then 4,500 to me...

I thought one cornered by leaning out of the window for a right hand turn and leaning inwards towards the passenger for a left hand bend.

 

He's only running it in for you. He knows that the 1st 1000 miles are painful and torturous. So, to show you how much he loves you he's not only undergoing that pain for himself, but for you as well..
