Just fitted a few gauges, NOTHING but hassle
brought a 3 slot din size gauge holder, oil pressure and temp gauge and a boost gauge, all off e-bay.
had nothing but hassle from the off, the holder ( RADIO SLOT POD 3 x 52mm GAUGES STD RADIO DIN SLOT METAL on eBay, also Dial, Dash Switch Custom'n, Interior Styling, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 04-May-09 20:56:09 BST) ) doesn't fit... its too long
and when i fitted the sandwhich plate, the temp sensor wouldn't stop leaking, so gradually tightend it up more, in the end the internals of the sensor broke away from the thread, now the thread's stuck in the sandwich plate and ive not got a BIG oil leak gonna try n usa a easy out tomorrow, see if it'll come out,
might try a copper washer on it, see if i get a better seal.
anyone else had this sort of trouble?

A lot of the cheap ebay sandwich plates are renouned for leaking, even with PTFE tape. I used the LMA kit which tees the oil pressure switch so you keep the original switch and can add a pressure switch, and also provides a threaded bung for cylinder 3 for the oil temp sensor. The only drama I had was taking if for a spin with the pressure sender only fitted finger tight. Some great plumes of smoke, but once it was tightened up, no problems at all

Had a GREX Sandwich Plate on mine, not connected to anything and leaked like a sieve, so took it off.
Looking to fit Oil pressure & Temp in the future but will try using alternator connection & cyl 3 if I can ????
