hi there people had a dyno run done today at surrey rolling road was a bit of a poor performance my car is a 96 impreza wrx import wagon should be 220bhp to 260bhp charlie said straight away your losing about 40bhp because of the back box has colapsed it was 204.5bhp to the fly wheel and a poor 155.5bhp to the wheels he said it must be your back box where its not letting anything out or your turbo actuater dont know if i spelt that right he said take off your back box and strip it of all the wire and wadding done that but now its very loud and i hate the sound of it when im driving flat out so does anyone know where i can get a cheap backbox from, the thing is on my car its not just the back box its joined by two bolts just in front of the rear wheels thanks for your help hope to hear from someone very soon it would be nice to go and buy one tommorrow thanks again

 

Whats your budget and how quiet or loud do you want it? Pea shooters off UK Turbo 2000s go for about £10 on Fleabay if thats what you want.
