The prices on nearly all cars have plumited but this has not been the case with GOOD RS's so just think if u had spent those £££££ on a nics cossie then u would have a very fast car that was worth good money and not a very fast car that was worth bugger all money wise that is. If you have just bought a scoob then you are luck y because u have a bargain that will probably not drop in value much.

P1ss off S1Kid - If you want to come on here then at least show a bit of maturity and get away from the boring RS V Scoob argument.

I love Scooby's, but also RS's. Both have their good points and bad (Ford more so )

Just chill out and avoid the argument - we are part of a performance car group and have no need to slag one another chariots off. If you want to do that gor for the "On a mission" crew.

"Leading edge Technology or Dagenham Friday afternoon'ers"
ive never yet seen a 600bhp scoob or for that matter a 400bhp scoob and that would be because of the chocolate engine parts.

Cool

Posted in another thread but I'll post it here as well.

S1KID,

Does this mean you own a series 1 RS turbo, an early 80's MK3 Escort?

And you are calling Impreza's. LOL.

I owned a S1 when they were new, not bad then, totally outclassed now M8 and as for residuals a friend of mine had his S1 stolen a couple of months ago, the insurance paid him £1750. He has bought a Sierra Cosworth for £3995. High priced RS's wont sell just like high priced Scoobs.

A scoob will never look as good as a Good S1.

u look at a scoob in 15 years time and see if it has as bigger a following as the S1 has now. I bet that 75% of all scoobs will be wrecked. the ones that are left will be rustey ar **** there will never be one in a museum unless Mcrae oreantated.

The S1 is a classic and always will. The ****** way out is the scoob the mans way out is the RS. easy as m8 .

Wink

A MK 2 Jag is also a classic and its also crap to drive.

Are you a driving enthusiast or just a cruising prima donna. The S1 is a medium powered hot hatch with a dodgy 80s fwd chassis, not a modern performance car like the Impreza.

Cool

And I now Dingy and his car very well.

And I have been for a spin in it.

It will give a Scoob a tough time, but it isn't a S1 either is it
