Programing Motec ECU from a PalmPilot

GT,
Sorry, but requires special software. This is currently DOS based but soon most if not all the software will be MS Windows based.
Whether PalmPilot based DOS emulators etc are available and whether the whole lot would fit in memory I don't know. Sorry.
Cheers

I hope they keep supporting/updating the DOS versions alongside the windoze ones... I suspect many people run laptops for tuning and many may not be up to running windoze (the laptops, not the tuners! ). Windows versions would require A) more powerful hardware and B) More drain on the batteries, hence less mapping time on internal power.

Moray,
That was almost exactly what I said to the MoTeC guys when i saw them at the Autosport show. Of course, they don't really have any say in the matter, all depends on what comes out of Auss.
However, I do know that because of the some of the new stuff they are bringing out, Windoze software *will* be required, DOS simply won't cut it. I think you can convert that to "multi-tasking operating system will be required".
Cheers
