Default New Legacy Touring

Will we get that 3.6 liter in Europe too?

Looking at the new Legacy I got the idea they hired some Opel and Toyota Engineers that have worked on the Vectra, Insignia and several Toyota models:

Subaru tried before to be a premium brand, but somehow failed during the process.
Will they succeed this time?

Would not be a bad idea, to build a H6 3.0 liter diesel hybrid Legacy.
Even in 2012 there will not to much diesel hybrids on the market.

But looking at the seven years they need to introduce a gasoline hybrid I fear it will last to the next Legacy before Subaru will build a diesel hybrid (if ever):
