Too high on the 'Bro to go' ratio for me!

I couldn't see a fan for that dyno!

Could be a meth mix....

Awesome power figure, and good to see that the cosworth mani is worth the extra money if you want more than 600BHP.

if you guys taking the **** knew anything about tuning you would know that al at dynoflash is one of the best tuners around.Hes also got one of the fastest evos about and tunes some of the best subarus and evos in the world.along side ics performance who tune m3s to 700 odd bhp with there turbo kits on standard internals.

I wish we had tuners over here like that instead of our rip off half a job numbers.

Although I love Al's videos, and his sheer comedy value in the videos, I can't help but think that these americans get some stupidly high figures for WHP. Some are saying they get something like 360whp from stock turbo STis. How is that possible, when that would technically be well over 400flywheel hp?
I sometimes wonder if their dynos actually caculate flywheel figures and they just say its WHP

Shut up you clown, we aren't taking the **** out of the tuning we're taking the **** out of the bro, erm, bro.

Wish we had tuners like that here? Stop talking out of your backside. There are plenty of them and with far better results than that!!

NS04,

It will hit the road soon enough. It will see plenty of action next year don't you worry about that...bro!!

if you read the corresponding Nasioc thread you will see that despite the "bro" nature of it all, the project is very serious indeed. And Al is a legend, which is something that probably passes most of you by unless you've been around for a while.

The power figures are in question though. If you look at his channel on youtube, he posted a vid from a couple of weeks ago of a customer car supposdely putting out 650WHP only putting a couple of car lengths on a Z06. Someone else posted on NASIOC that his 550 WHP STi puts bus lengths on Z06's.

Yeah I really have problems with the numbers. 704whp at a 20% transmission loss makes like nearly 900bhp.
650whp is like 800odd bhp - that should have obliterated the Z06..

I am pretty sure there wheel horse power is equivalent to our flywheel horsepower.

But apparently a "stock sti" makes 240whp on their dyno. Which would be 300 flywheel hp..

Don't get me wrong, these cars that Al tunes are awesome, and are much faster than most things I see videos of. However, it doesn't stop me thinking that their whp figures are just tosh for the performance they get.
