Does a 2006 2.5 wrx sti have the same exhaust note, the one like a miss fire LOL, as the 2.0 wrx and sti have?

Are you trolling? Or genuinely asking? I don't know why anyone thinks a boxer exhaust note sounds like a misfire. It's a completely different sound to that.

Hi,

I ment scobbies normaly have there own unique sound which is fab but I was told that the 2.5 didnt have the same sound as all the earlier WRX's etc, I was asking if its true or do they have exactly the same sound to them.

Make sure you don't take any tuning advice from the guy who told you that

They have the same sound as the headers are exactly the same in the 2.5 as the 2.0 Type UKs and Euro imports.

The JDM is different as it has equal length headers.

Perfect, I didnt want to get one and find that when i changed the back box, it sounded nothing like the other scobbies that I love the sound of lol
