Thumbs up Prosport Stepper gauges fitted..New rear plate and a HUGE Thank you..:D

Well finally got around to doing a few jobs on the Scoob... Basically the front plate was always like the new rear but the rear needed changing over so...

Old shot of the rear plate

And New....

Propsort Stepper Gauges in Smoke (off) mode..In Triple gauge pod.

They can glow amber too if you connect up to the headlight feed but I want them white all the time

They do a posh start up and close down sequence but I have not done a vid yet

Here's a Tube vid off what they do..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39fvXxtrhw0

Having problems with the Boost gauge at the moment so i'm going to have to email Xyberauto's.Needle seems to have a mind of it's own and now it dosn't seem to do the sweeping needle on the start up sequence with the other two
I want to say a MASSIVE Thank You to 'Stiggy' off here too
After hearing about my problems with the crappy Dynamix gauges i bought he GAVE me the Triple gauge pod you see in the pics!!!!!!!!!! All i did was sort him the postage money out and he sent me it for NOTHING What a real mate and if only there was more people like him in the world..i shall be doing a good deed in the very near future to carry it on if you ever need anything pal give me a shout.

The issue you have with your boost gauge is the same i had with same gauge

take it out of pod and you will find if you look closely that chances are the electrical connection from boost sensor is not pushed on all the way

it pushes right in to the back of the gauge

you will feel it seat correctly

hope that might help you

I agree with c76.

Get a small screwdriver and use it to push it down all the way. take it out and push it back in if needed. Check the power cables while your at it.

Hey Abz

I used this great guide off here mate...

https://www.scoobynet.com/interior-1...ure-boost.html

Same gauges and explains a lot in simple terms.I'd say Oil temp..Oil pressure and Boost are pretty much the ideal ones to get..som people would argue but they are all you need for starters mate.If you have any probs give me a shout.
