I've thought long and hard about whether or not to post this, but for the sake of a certain well known person on this bulletin board, it is because I don't believe the bullsh*t you have given me.

Everything you have said during our phone conversations didn't add up and I think you know they were lies.

I have posted this message because I'd appreciate the truth. After all, I have kept my word throughout the "supposed" transaction. Something you haven't. (eg "...don't post anything on Scoobynet about this...") You know what I mean, and you know how much I wanted that number plate.

I did e-mail & enquire about this plate, but I didn't even get a reply, perhaps it's not for sale anymore, or never was....

This plate was bought just after Christmas. The w***ker only bought it to sell it on. He purchased it for £250 and tried flogging it on here for about £2500. It annoyed the hell out of me because I had spotted the plate and he got it 2 days before me.

Cheers

Hey guys - Ive just looked on the DVLA site and they have still got S600 CBY and S600 BYN for only £250 - pretty similar if u ask me and the second one would look even better if u spaced the N correctly. Was tempted to get the first myself but Id prefer one with less letters.

You could do a DVLA check on the plate.

You get 3 plates to check for £12
If you want a detailed history you only pay another £15

I don't know what it'll show though if it's not been on a car though

Why the transfer fee? Reading the DVLA website they say all u pay is the £250 and thats everything including a 12month retention period before u have to register it to a vehicle.

the transfer fee shouldn't apply if the plates are held by dvla as the numbers will be on retention by them hence no need to transfer from vehicle to vehicle

Quoting newreg.com.

I stand corrected if u can avoid VAT/tfer fee by going direct to the DVLA.

Question

Echo the comments re transfer fee. I've got S600BY V, same price as all of the above - £250, and that's it.

I wonder if we could track down everyone from "A" to "Y"?

Is this actually going to achieve anything?

If you've got an issue with someone over a personal sale, surely it's best to sort it out offline.

Unless all you are trying to do is create a witch hunt.
