removing sound deadening
i have already removed the sound deadening from under the rear seat and in the boot.
i am now going to start removing it from under the carpets..... but i want to revise my techniques a little.
when doing the bits i've already done, i put ice packs on the area (couldn't get dry ice) and tapped it with a hammer and finally pried it off with a scraper.
the only concern that i have is that i left lots of little dents in the metal where is was tapping it. am i doing something wrong?

I used a hammer and chisel mate , just start at one corner and keep tapping away.
It came up pretty easily compared to the extra layer someone had put on top!!! Was stuck like bleeding chewing gum.

ok, so nearly all of my sound deadening is removed.#
there are black tubes that run from the center console and splits into 2 under each seat (i'm assuming it's AC). yes, i know i have zero knowledge....
anyway, i was wondering if these can be removed to get to the sound deadening underneath??? it's the end that goes behind the center console/dash that worries me....

I have just removed mine, unclipped them at the rear and cut them back at the console so they blow into the front footwell now
cheers
