What do you want to achieve?
Road or track or both? What's your partner prepared to put up with? Budget?
Eibachs on standard dampers is a popular u/grade. Cheap (£200 from Tyres Norhampton) & doesn't really compromise ride. Lowered (30mm) car & slightly enhanced handling. Springs prob still too soft for track (find Stef's "Awesome Braking Pics").
Eibachs with Koni adjustables. Not tried it but gives variable damper settings - nearer £500
Leda B - Currently fitted - £1250 odd. On track is excellent
Road-wise on softest settings, slightly bangy at low speeds & tendancy to wallow over undulations on M'ways. That's only 'cos haven't played with road settings due to wife. Once up to speed, then its great on A & B roads.
Noise on Ledas - still under investigation but seems to be different from other peoples. Only intrusive when going slow![](http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif)

Eibach springs with Bilstein dampers a la PPP/RB5 is a very nice compromise between handling (on the road at least) and ride quality - £1200 me thinks from your local dealer.

there is also AVO for around £900 fitted does not make anynoise if i remember correctly and i have not heard any thing bad about them from THE PEOPLE that have them on.
i think also blestien now have adjustable dampers for £800 and they bound to be top quality but you would need to match them up with suitable springs
