Default 02 sti

what is the most i can get out the engine before i have to add forged parts ie. power. torque and turbo to acheive this the car has 64000 miles on it and always serviced any help will be greatly appreciated thanx

You should be ok with 400 of each. Theres a wide selection of turbos to meet this figuire.

I'd stop at 450/450 on standard internals.

sorry the car is a uk sti only had ppp fitted 2 years ago i have just bought the car after selling my andy f remapped uk 2000 turbo it was either ppg and clutch fitted to the uk classic or sti so it was a no brainer really cheers for the replys

Just what I am aiming at with mine by the end of the year (once I stop making babies).


I am running 402.5bhp / 359lbft on my 2002 STi now. The only thing letting me down is not having a FMIC and larger injectors.

Like Dunx I had mine mapped by JGM who in my books has a very good understading of these engines limits. What I will say is if you treat the car well it will treat you well but that does not mean that each MY2002 STi is the same (if that makes any sense at all) ?
