as above
any device that can tell me this?
went to collect some stuff from a person off ebay eysterday, countryside sort of area.. speed limits ranged from 20 to 30 to 40 to 50 to 60 and national speed limit and back down, and the dam road seemed the same
give or take a lane or 2, single carriage ways and dual carriage ways etc.
cameras come along and when your confused, reading sat nav for which turn off, your not sure of the speed limit of the road..
would make it easier to just include this with the amount of people using sat navs these days, am sure it'll improve safety
god knows why they havnt done it already.

seems to be something like that on my Navman s90i, flashes up the speed limit, also only tells you about a camera if you are within 10% of the limit i.e. travelling more than 10% below the speed limit it does not bong at you.

Or you could opt for an origin b2.. its slightly old but still a great piece of kit plus you have the option to buy a radar diffuser. You have less chance of getting caught if you are slightly over.

just to let you know if you look at your tomtom (positive this will be the same whatever the make) it does say somewhere that the information provided is only a guide and cannot be used as a defence if found to be breaking the law. bascally if you keep an eye on the roadsigns and are aware of what the satnav is telling you on occasions, for however short a time it does not always correspond to the actual limit of the road. i have noticed this loads of times myself, all you can do is just be aware of it.
