Default What a HORN

Well this must have been posted on before but i got to say what a horrid horn i have/had on my 2001 bugeye...

It reminds me of my grandads 1980 something nissan bluebird from when i was a nipper( only a few years ago )

Got to the point when someone pulled out in front of me, i was just about to beep and remebered if i beep would they just laugh at me so just mumbled something to myself instead.

After 5 years like this i finally ripped the 2 poxy horns off and replaced with some fiam hi/lo horns, sounds like a horn should now

sorry to anyone who like theirs by the way this is just my opinion

yup i also found out how much of a prat i sounded when i was cut up by a car , mycar has a hks superdragger exhaust and equal length manifold and sounds pretty beefy then when i beep the horn it then sounds more camp than a row of tents , anyway needless to say the person laughed when i beeped him and tbh so did i lol , but.....

I posted a thread not so long ago about this! lol. I had to use my horn when some twonk pulled out on me with the kids in the car. I was not speeding as I had just pulled out of a junction, and it was some middle aged bloke who assumed I was a boy racer type batting about. When he saw me screaming at him that I had kids whist I had my hand planted on the horn, I don't know what he was more shocked at, the fact I was hurling abuse at him, that he nearly hit a car with two toddlers in, or the noise if the gayest horn I have ever heard!!

From what I can gather most of the peep who were posting on my thread have 'upgraded' their horns. lol.

Yeah these are good. I've got a Nautilus twin tone air horn on my classic and it scares the s**t out of people. 139db at 1" I think, not bad aye?
