Default Fuel for a 2007 WRX

If I can't get 98RON fuel for my 2007 WRX is there any point putting in 97RON? If it's no better than standard 95RON fuel then there's no point wasting money on it, but if it offers better performance it might be worth it. Any ideas?

There are loads of differing opinions on this but for what its worth I would always put the best grade available in my cars.
On occasion if I cant get to shell or Tesco I will put some 97 in, but for the sake of the engine I would advise using the best one you can get.
Unless your in Egham, that BP stuff thats £3 a liter may well blow your car up.
