Hi, im an owner of a Version 2 Impreza Wagon WRX, n i was wondering what the difference is between a wrx and a turbo 2000???
i mean like ive heard a turbo 2000 is 230bhp, and a wrx is 260bhp and an sti is 280bhp but, im just not sure what the facts are. can any1 help me out here??? cheers

Early UK wagons (pre 97) ran 208bhp and a TD05 turbo (big) where as the JDM WRX wagon of similar years ran 220ps (approx 218bhp on super) and a smaller TD04 turbo like the later uk cars.
So virtually nothing in it except uk cars can run happily on 95 ron and jdm's can't.

thanx for that lads, i run my car on V-power STRICTLY since ive bought it, but ive always wondered what would happen except for slower performance if i put normal unleaded in....could i cause any major problems by putting normal unleaded into an imported WRX??

It's basically to do with what the car is mapped for from Japan. They have higher rated fuel than us, I'm not sure on the specifics but if you do a search, you'll find all the tuners say the same thing
