Got a K&N 57i & fitted it to my car..Never had a prob with K&N b4 but now when you change gear it sounds more like a dv than a air filter its that loud it people on the street jump with fright as i drive past & yes its fitted right..going to take it off, what a waste of £100. would i have the same probs with a panel filter ?

Induction kits generally not worth bothering with unless you have an FMIC. Stick with the perfectly adequate airbox with a decent quality filter.

i use to have a HKS one in my old UK spec. did a good job.

You can get a K&N panel filter which is supposed to be good or a Green filter (like I've got) from Scoobyworld.
