Yellow stuff pads, are they worth the money?

I think they're great Ian.
I've had OEM pads, Ferodo DS2500's and Yellow Stuff on mine for front pads.
- OEM were good for stopping about half an hour after you wanted to....
- The DS2500's created a hell of a lot of brake dust, were expensive and IMHO weren't that big an improvement.
- Yellow stuff were cheaper than Ferodo's, offered better braking from cold, and don't fade anywhere near as badly after a few hard stops. AND they're about £20 cheaper a set for the front.
Well worth the money if you ask me.
Bought mine from EBC Brakes Direct - £102 next day delivery IIRC.

For a hard compound track pad I've yet to find anything that beats my PF 01 compound on track. Not as good as the Z compound on the road but a step up in performance on track. For a fast road pad the PF Zs are my favourite.

Another vote for red stuff pads here.
£90 from Scoobyparts.
The work well from cold and even better once warmed up. I havent experience any fade at all. I was warned about a slight squeal from them but have not experience this possibly because I used the shims from my old pads.

becareful with the yellow stuff are there are a couple of variants on the compound, I had a set on my track car using brembo 4pots and my god they were aweful and i hated them. However i ran redstuff on the standard setup and loved them.
but i will be going for ds2500's for the scoob i think as my clio stopped on command and i never had any fade etc.

I run the YellowStuff"R" compound on mine with AP 6 Pots. I previously ran RedStuff pads and they only lasted a few thousand miles and were disappointing. Not sure if they have changed the compound since.
The Yellowstuff pads work very well in contrast. Fine from cold and can handle track temps too, whilst offering a very good lifespan.
If I had Brembos though (as you do) I would use PF Z compound pads without hesitation as they are a fantastic fast road pad.
Can supply either if needed along with a host of others. Just PM with your requirements
