Dear All,
Myself and Hunty were fortunate enough to win a competition in Car Magazine organised by Ralliart, and we had our day out last week!
The day was held at the Phil Price Rally School near Knighton, Powys and started fairly early - I had stayed in a local B&B - Strefford Hall, near Craven Arms (TOP place and highly recommended. I instantly recognised Hunty in his Evo Mak and after a quick introduction to everyone, the day started!
Gus Gregory (photgrapher from car, evo etc) was there and also a couple fo people from Car mag itself. We had a briefing and then started off getting taken round a small stage in their old Mk 2 Escorts. We then progressed throughout the day actually driving them and then going round on our own.
However the best bits were driving an Escort Cossie round the 2 mile full stage and also....this was AWESOME.... getting taken for a full on run round the stage in a Gr N Evo which Mitsubishi had arranged to be there! This was simply sensational - what amazed me was just how smooth the ride was and how damn quick we were going next to a damn BIG drop!
Anyway, many thanks to Phil Price for a superbly organised day and also a BIG thanks to Ralliart for the day in the first place!
So, onto the photos, the first being of Hunty in the Gr N Evo
Hunty looking GOOD!
Also, Monsieur Hunty in the escort, although it was rare to see him going forward and not doing donuts!![](http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif)
Some more will be added later!
Cheers,
Mossman
