ok i have a question on this subject. i have a my97 t2000 which when i start ignition the engine check light comes on and goes off. (normal i know) but underneth the steering wheel by the green, and yellow diagnostic plugs are 2 black clips (male and female) that looked like they should be plugged together. so i did, whilst there connected my engine check light flashes. i did attempt to count how many times but gave up after 100!! lol

any ideas?

if you look a bit closer i think you should have a green and a black do a search and it will tell you how to read fault codes and reset your ecu using the green and black wires comes in handy sometimes
