Default Noob Alert!

Hello everyone

I've finally moved onto a jap monster after turning 25 and finding affordable insurance.

Previously owned cars likes CTRs(still do) and Astra GSis but fancied a change. I've purchased myself a bug eye wagon(not as pretty as the actual scoob i would have wanted but funds restricted me)

Its had a fresh re-build 3000 miles ago and had some work done by a chap Andy Forrest. Not took any pics yet as it needs a good clean.(and the black alloys taken off it for standard ones)

Just waiting on insurance to come through so I can road tax it now

Welcome to ScoobyNet. Get some photos up in the members gallery!

I take it you mean Andy Forrest? If so, that's a good sign.

He's in Port Seton and he mapped my old car. He's regarded as one of the best Subaru mappers in europe. Do you know who built the engine?

I'm in Lanarkshire near Biggar, if you know where that is? Not that many around here either compared to other places!

greer sport...kilwinning

Biggar is only about 30miles from me, I pass through it if I'm heading to edinburgh. I was passing through and stopped for an extortionate chippy last weekend. Spotted a guy with a CTR and orange wheels.

I know the guy with the CTR. He does track days and stuff with it - has a set of pink wheels with his 888s on.

Yeah I bet that was the Townhead chippy you were in. It won 'Britain's best chippy' or something like that, but isn't actually that good...not sure what was going on there? (bribe)

'Peters' in the middle of the town is much better the next time you're passing through.

P.S There are more Scottish folk on the Scottish Scoobies section of the SIDC forum - http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showforum=11
