£10 petrol at 1.12p per litre...
How far does £10 get you in your impreza's?
I usually fill it up as much as I can and then use it, then refill etc..., but lately due to various travel reasons I have only been able to fill up here and there.
I have a 95 WRX Import with a decat full system exhaust and aftermarket induction kit. I also have an uprated fuel pump.
Lately, the petrol station has been my 2nd hom more than usual, as I am only gettign about 40 miles from £10. Is that bad?
I dont rant it everywhere, but I also dont drive like an old biddy, so its kinda on/off with the pedal.
Can other people please give examples on their mpg / petrol usage, woudl be interested !!!
Thanks
Jon

Putting £10 worth of fuel in a Scooby is a bit like going out for a good **** up and trying to drink two pints all night.

1.12 per litre
4.54 litres to the gallon
So £5.08 per gallon (christ didn't realise it was over a fiver!!)
So £10 equals 2 gallons as near as damn it
So 20 mpg

Full tank (around £55-£60) on my RB5 gets me around 150-200 miles, would never dream of putting a tenner in at all, it would just seem worthless
....I try and fill to the brim whenever i can, i dont drive the car that much, and when i take it out i like it to have a good full tank to play with
As said above by others, im not really concerned about the fuel economy, yes its terrible, but i know that, and i knew that when i went to buy the car and started modding it, thats why i have a £450 runaround car for during the week

I know, same here - was supposed to be taking the bus to work some of the time, but I just can't walk past the scoob
As for the OP, I get around 60 miles to £10 which is not bad, average 300 miles to a full tank of V Power @ 28mpg combined
That could all change soon tho as I've got a uprated fuel pump and a remap on the to-do list

Do people only put 10quid in at a time?
why?
just fill it up and waste less driving back to the pumps to put another 10quids worth in LOL?!
