Obviously we don't want full details posted, but have you any more details on how this works ? Is it a keyfob over a certain area of the dash whenever the kays are removed from the ignition or a more complex solution ?

Please phone your clifford dealer. This works through obscurity.

Why don't we just post something saying "all Imprezas will have blackjax, so don't forget to rough the owner up to find out how to bypass it whilst your threatening them for the keys".

It is when anti-hijack systems are concerned.

The idea is that you want to let them get away with the car without having to do anything at all - ie just let them take it. Then, after a while, something happens and the car stops.

They can't do anything with the car and more importantly, you've run away and called the police and are nowhere to be found.

I have a mate in South Africa. Anti-hijack systems are now commonplace in the larger cities and so anytime they hijack a car they normally take the owner at gunpoint!!

Question

Can they work with the Standard CAT1 alarm system? Or do you need a clifford alarm as well?

My point exactly. If someone's going to hijack my car I'd rather they didn't take me too.

Is a group buy with one dealer a good idea, I say this as the whole idea of Blackjax is obscurity. If one dealer fits a lot of cars and that info slips into the wrong hands !

Sillysi,

I don't understand mate. These dealers fit them day in day out anyway.

Mo,

What I mean is this discussion is now in the open and the dealers location is now revealed. So if you take it one step further then one could say that there will be a lot of Subarus in this area possibly with the system fitted. I fear that we are revealing to much info in an open forum.

I used to work for Clifford Electronics in the technical department so I have rung up a local dealer that I know very well and discussed a group buy on Blackjax 4.

If 10+ people are interested how does

£160 all in sound.. per car. ( For the Blackjax only)

Well that's one person interested cheers Mo.
Lets get these orders up. email your contact numbers and I will pass them on to the company concerened.

By the way they are based in kent.

I was manager there 8 years ago then went to Clifford, now I own my own computer business.

Mo,
Can you edit the original first post to show the new group buy price and to contact me.

Also all numbers I receive I shall pass onto the guy so he can contact the people direct reference fitting times.

This way it keeps everything secure.

( All fitting will be done at the premises as I dont approve onsite fitting!)
