I'm looking to get a bike carrier for my STI7.

I've seen this thread 'http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=132324' and wondered what make/model the STI bandit has for his?
Or would a roof mounted rack be the much better option.
Don't want a tow bar, removable or not.

Just need to take the wife's and my bike to some decent places to ride, baby trailer in the boot and away we go.

Any advice appreciated, or has anyone got one for sale?
