Default PPP

Just been told that I can't fit the Prodrive package to my 2009 WRX without invalidating the warranty. The car was a parallel import from Malta through Motorpoint.
Has anyone solved this one on a similar car?

I had my 06 Hawkeye STI Prodrived when it was 18 months old.
This was done at the local Subaru main dealer.

It does not void the warranty as this is an approved Subaru upgrade, you even get a certificate from them to prove its been done.

Hope this helps

Yes but I suspect yours was UK supplied.

They don't sell the PPP kit in Malta and being as it's Subaru Malta that has to pay out on the warranty if it all goes wrong they don't cover it.

So you have a choice - scrap the warranty and take it to a specialist for a decent exhaust, filter and remap, or leave as is.

I wouldn't bother with the Prodrive pack if the warranty is no longer an issue as you'll get more bang per buck from an independent.

Thinking about upgrading my 55 plate WRX Bobeye as i couldnt PPP when i had the warranty for the reason she was an EU import.

You need to decide if you want to keep the warranty i decided i did hence now trying to decide on a suitable upgrade.
