Does anyone know if the standard stereo in an impreza WRX STI UK comes with an adapter or you can buy an adapter for a 4th generation iPod please? Thanks

On a 2006, there is nothing in the wiring diagrams for one.

so will one of those adapter cable things work if I fit one? I had one in my accord, cost about £80. Thanks

Depends which cables you mean. Some stereo's have a socket at the rear to take IPODs, a lot dont. If it hasnt got one, best thing is a FM transmitter type addaptor but some arnt very good or a change of stereo. Has yours the single deck stero or double deck?
