Question Anyone Else Got The Judders ...

... with all this damp weather?

My clutch is juddering badly, until it warms up ..... common problem at the moment?

It has done 95,000 miles ... so, just about run-in now ...

Is this a problem on certain models only ?
I used to get judder when cold on my classic.

No sign of it on the new age STI.

Yeah, mine judders slighting, only when it is cold though. About 2 minutes and it is absolutely fine. Just over 60k on mine.

Mine hasn't done it for quite some time now and it's now on 105,000 miles. About 6 months ago it would do it regularly, didn't seem to like the cold.

Maybe someone could invent a Damp Catch-Tank?

Could sell it as a Clutch Life Extender?

An old bean tin attached to the bellhousing, maybe?

Some on here would pay damned good money for that kind of invention! They would actually believe it worked too!!

Add some flashing lights and it's a dead cert. sure fire hit!

Poor a can of coke into it, it eats rust so should clean up a clutch, but it may rot the teeth off your flywheel....

LOL

my 02 wrx did it when cold, did a launch start and it's fine now, apparently the launch start cleans the clutch plate face. found it on sidc

mines the opposite.

fine when cold,horrendous when hot.
I have done numerous 6k launches to clean the flywheel but then, after a mth or so,its back again.
getting it all replaced next week for a lightened flywheel and new clutch (on a classic)

think its original cluutch on 75k now so cant grumble really
