Question

Hi,

I'm looking for a larger car as a second car, and have seen an ad for a well priced imported 1994 Legacy GT Twin turbo that looks interesting (as a more entertaining alternative to a new 1.4l Clio auto, which my wife favours )

Does anyone know the details of the specification, and any good info resources on the net? I can't seem to find any information relating to this particular 1994 model..

I'm also interested in opinions and experiences regarding this model as an ownership prospect, e.g.
How reliable is it, what insurance group is it, does it need to run 97+octane booster, any common problems to look out for etc.

The more information the merrier.

Thanks in advance,

Alex

yep I do.

The guy that bought mine took this one out first.

said only an idiot would buy it!

For a start the dealer reckons it has 280 bhp. Well a 94 model has either 240 or 260. Which puts me off as I'd only buy a car off someone that at least knew a bit about it! Overall the car is crap, basically don't waste your time with it.

I'll mail you offline later with some details.
