Default where would i get a pipe to mate up to this?

hi just purchased one of these

Scoobyparts Ltd TORNADO DOWNPIPE WITH SPORT CAT (CLASSIC)

where would i get a center decat to mate up to the 3" flange of this sports cat?
and obviously a back box with a 3 inch flange too?

i ask because on all the subaru sites it seems to say 3 inch pipe but they all have 2.5 inch flanges on them do they even sell them with 3 inch flanges or do i have to buy the converter and make mine smaller?

any help appreciated cheers

also on my 1995 uk subaru when i fit this cat do i only need to put one lamba sensor on will i have 2 on the car? very cufused look forward to your responces cheers

That cat comes with a 2.5" adaptor, so it'll fit your old system until you need a 3" system. What power are you hoping for?

I dont have the adaptor as i baught the decat second hand I no you can get them for about £30 though so no major problem.

I have tried ebay there are loads of 3" systems but they all say the same thing they mate together with 2.5 inch flanges

I just didnt want to bring the size down with an adaptor if i didnt need to.

im aiming for around 270-280 bhp

I was going to put a green panel air filter on and the sports cat mentioned with a decat centre section then i was going to contact jgm to work his magic

even if i only managed 260 tho i would probaly be happy with that.

for the power im aiming for would i lose any power using the 2.5 adaptor? and using 2.5 pipework

To be honest, the 2.5" system would be ideal. A 3" at that power may reduce the exhaust gas speed, and reduce spool a little.
I'm running 320bhp, with a 3" de-cat, reduced to a 2.5" centre/back box.
Will be re mapped soon, as just gone fmic, so hopefully 340-350 still on the 2.5" system.

ok well i think i will buy a adaptor then and use a 2.5 inch centre decat .

thanks for that advise

with the 100 cell sports cat and decat centre section and back box plus panel filter what bhp and tourqe could i expect from these mods with a ecutek map?

thats if i can get a ecutek map on a 1995 uk turbo

1995 not mappable I'm afraid, new ecu time! You could fit a polar performance chip, which with the above mods should see you 250-270bhp. About £125, easy fit. I had one a while back(before going mad!), made a nice improvement.

advice to you fella

now you know you need a new ecu or chip (ecu best option) stop and think how much you are willing to spend and what your goals are, you allready have a fast car so no rush is there, we have all spent spent spent on these cars and im sure we all say that we could of done it so much cheaper and maybe better

imho

Also, the best thing i've done to make a great road car, is suspension mods. Nothing worse than being shown up in the twisties!
